Manager - Marketing Event

The Job

Strategic planning

  •    Analyze and initiate corporate marketing event annual plan
  •    Setup objective, criteria and Design marketing campaign and content for the event
  •    Analyze trend and situation of the event and promote in order to achieve marketing target
  •    Liaise with sales and marketing teams to publicize and promote the event

Project management and operation

  •    Manage all pre-event planning, e.g. organizing guest speakers and delegate packs
  •    Initiates marketing event and manage detailed proposals for events (e.g. timelines, venues, suppliers, legal obligations, staffing and budgets)
  •    Research venues, suppliers and contractors, and then negotiate prices and proceed the hiring, also monitor 
  •    Coordinate suppliers, handle queries and troubleshoot on the day of the event to ensure that all runs smoothly and to budget
  •    Manage and supervise team and giving full briefings
  •    Oversee the dismantling and removal of the event and clear the venue efficiently
  •    Perform post-event evaluation to improve future events

The Person

    • Bachelor degree in Marketing and Communications
    • 5 - 7 years of experience in Marketing or event organizer company
    • Project management, communication, interpersonal,organizational and negotiation skills
    • Ability to work under pressure to ensure the efficient running of an event
    • Problem-solving, diplomacy, details oriented, result oriented and positive attitude individual
    • The ability to manage budgets in each event
