FWD Insurance supports Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

FWD Life Insurance Company Limited (“FWD Insurance”), is collaborating with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) within Thai organisations. During this past month, FWD Insurance has offered inclusive employee benefits to FWD employees and celebrated the Pride month. 

David Korunić, Chief Executive Officer of FWD Insurance, said “Respect for everyone is part of FWD’s corporate culture. We have more than 1,800 employees with diverse age, language, culture, gender, religion, and physical capabilities. Under the DEI, we want to highlight that everyone is equally important in driving the company’s success”.

FWD Insurance continues to support diversity in the workplace by creating a corporate culture that accepts diversity through training and information to promote mutual acceptance. In order to drive DEI in the workplace, FWD Insurance has policies and practices in place that adhere to the principle of treating everyone equally by upholding their rights, values and competence. In addition, FWD Insurance, in collaboration with UNDP is promoting DEI in the workplace in Thailand.

During Pride month, FWD Insurance is proud to support diversity, equity, and inclusion by offering training, and encouraging its employees to openly express and present their own selves. At the latest townhall meeting for all staff there was a section called ‘Pride Month Talk’. During this session Khun Poyd, Treechada Petcharat, a successful speaker and LGBTQ person and Khun Suparnee Pongruengphant, Project Manager–Gender Equality and Social Inclusion UNDP in Thailand representing the UNDP, discussed the importance of diversity. FWD Insurance was also one of the sponsors of the Pattaya International Pride 2022 through the Sisters Foundation, the event was held on 24-26 June 2022.
