People Development Manager – Trainer, Internal Communication and Engagement Activities

Introduction / Job summary

To deliver efficient curriculum and align with company objective with high quality trainer role through learning & development programs, internal communications, and engagement activities to FWD’s people as well as offering advice and support to our management team in devising learning and development solutions.

The Job

  • Assess training needs for new and existing employees
  • Identify internal and external training programs to address competency gaps
  • Partner with internal stakeholders regarding employee training needs
  • Prepare, design, organize, develop or source training programs to meet specific learning and development needs or objectives
  • Develop training aids such as presentation slides, handout, wall chart, etc.
  • Communicate employees about training options
  • Map out training plans for individual employees
  • Present training programs using recognized training techniques and tools
  • Facilitate learning through a variety of delivery methods including classroom instruction, virtual training, on-the-job training
  • Design and apply assessment tools to measure training effectiveness
  • Track and report on training outcomes
  • Provide feedback to program participants and management
  • Evaluate and make recommendations on training material and methodology
  • Coordinate off-site training activities for employees
  • Maintain and develop relationship with internal clients
  • Ensure that learning and development programs are aligned with the approved budget, plan and policies
  • Provide and develop Induction Program to all new joiners
  • Keep current on training design and methodology
  • Fully act as a Business Partner by diagnosing and providing end users proper development solutions
  • Sustain and deliver leadership programs
  • Liaise with the training administrator in compiling evaluation feedback reports
  • Undertake any other duties as required

** This job will be focusing on learning and development of manager level downwards**

Engagement Activities

  • Coordinate, manage, implement and develop monthly and annually staff engagement activities e.g. We Share, Standup Meeting, Staff Outing, Family Day, Staff Party, etc.
  • Make further development on internal engagement activities

Internal Communications

  • Develop and deliver internal and external communications strategy which includes internal communications with staff and service users and wider media
  • Manage internal communications’ input and output

The Person

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR Development/ Management or related field
  • At least 5 years of direct experiences in learning and development
  • Previous experience of facilitating learning and development
  • Previous experience of training delivery
  • Previous experience of designing learning and development programs and training materials
  • Having certified leadership program would be beneficial
  • Effective presentation and communication skills, delivered with enthusiasm and impact
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent English proficiency
  • Demonstrate high level computer literacy skills e.g. MS-Word, Excel, PowerPoint
